La observaci\u00f3n aporta pistas nuevas sobre c\u00f3mo se forman y evolucionan estos sistemas extremos.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Un equipo cient\u00edfico internacional ha descubierto una colisi\u00f3n c\u00f3smica (de un agujero negro con una estrella de neutrones) que&nbsp;<strong>orbitaban en una trayectoria ovalada y no en un perfecto c\u00edrculo<\/strong>, lo que desaf\u00eda el modelo cl\u00e1sico de las fusiones estelares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los autores del estudio han hallado las primeras evidencias s\u00f3lidas de esa colisi\u00f3n entre las dos partes cuando cubr\u00edan una \u00f3rbita el\u00edptica, lo que resulta trascendental para la ciencia porque hasta ahora se pensaba que esas fusiones ocurr\u00edan cuando esos &#8216;pares&#8217; cubr\u00edan \u00f3rbitas circulares antes de colisionar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lo han descubierto investigadores de la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid (UAM), de la Universidad de Birmingham y el Instituto Max Planck de F\u00edsica Gravitacional, y los resultados del trabajo se han publicado en&nbsp;<em>The Astrophysical Journal Letters<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La mayor\u00eda de los pares de estrellas de neutrones y agujeros negros adoptan \u00f3rbitas circulares mucho antes de fusionarse, pero un evento ondas (el bautizado como<strong>&nbsp;GW200105<\/strong>) ha mostrado que este sistema se desplaz\u00f3 en una \u00f3rbita ovalada mucho antes de fusionarse para formar un agujero negro trece veces m\u00e1s masivo que el Sol, lo cual nunca antes se hab\u00eda observado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El investigador<strong>&nbsp;Gonzalo Morras<\/strong>, de la UAM y del Instituto Max Planck de F\u00edsica Gravitacional, ha destacado que se trata de una prueba convincente de que no todos los pares de estrellas de neutrones y agujeros negros comparten el mismo origen, y ha apuntado que la \u00f3rbita exc\u00e9ntrica sugiere un lugar de nacimiento en un entorno donde muchas estrellas interact\u00faan gravitacionalmente.<a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-pistas-sobre-la-formacion-de-objetos-extremos\">Pistas sobre la formaci\u00f3n de objetos extremos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Los cient\u00edficos han explicado que este descubrimiento proporciona nuevas pistas que son &#8220;cruciales&#8221; para entender c\u00f3mo se forman estos objetos extremos, revela que&nbsp;<strong>los modelos te\u00f3ricos conocidos hasta ahora est\u00e1n incompletos<\/strong>&nbsp;y plantea nuevas preguntas sobre en qu\u00e9 lugar del universo se originan estos sistemas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los investigadores analizaron datos de dos detectores de ondas gravitacionales (<strong>Ligo y Virgo<\/strong>) utilizando un nuevo modelo desarrollado en el Instituto de Astronom\u00eda de Ondas Gravitacionales de la Universidad de Birmingham, lo que les permiti\u00f3 medir tanto la \u00f3rbita ovalada y exc\u00e9ntrica como cualquier oscilaci\u00f3n inducida por la rotaci\u00f3n, y han valorado que esta ha sido la primera vez que se miden estos dos efectos conjuntamente<strong>&nbsp;en un evento de estrella de neutrones y agujero negro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El an\u00e1lisis de ondas gravitacionales apunta a una fusi\u00f3n in\u00e9dita entre un agujero negro y una estrella de neutrones que&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":5467,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[22],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-5466","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-ciencia"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v26.8 (Yoast SEO v27.5) -
